A Trip to Ciwidey

Last week, on Tuesday of December 30^th 2014 I and my family went to Ciwidey. I and my family went there by car. There are two car that we rode because we were twelve persons. I and five ones other in Proton, six ones else in Toyota. We start to go at a half past six in the morning. I did not eat yet before go to the traveller. I just ate two bunch of fried food I bought on the edge of the road. Fortunately, when we reached near the Purbaleunyi Toll, we realized that our car needs to be increased by fuel. While queued to increase fuel, my sister went out to buy foods at the market in gas area. Unfortunately, I was wrong, she just went out for the toilet. There was no time remains to buy foods. Actually, I was not the only one who had not breakfast. So, we planned to buy foods at a minimarket around Kopo Street.

            A whole the traveller, I was sleeping until we arrived at the minimarket to buy foods and drinks. When one of us came back, I was looking for breads or something that can make me recover from starving. I didn’t see anybread in the plastic bag. I just found some junk foods. my sister said I have to stay a bit starving, because we will go to a mountain. The cold weather will increase the tasty of the food we eat. The traffic was not jam, because this day was a day before December 31^st. The traveller was so long for me. We reached in the location after three hour passed. That happened because my car has to be stopped to wait another car that contains six ones else, they didn’t know where they were.  We wait them near KawahPutih. When they had come, we went on. We didn’t visit KawahPutih, because the scene of it is not too beauty, the day was rainy and there’s no sun I could see. A whole the area was cloudy and misty, we won’t see anything there. Moreover, the price of the ticket is so expensive, IDR 75,000 per ticket.

The pictures above are the photos of the scene while the traveller to the peak of the Mount Purut. It’s so misty and I couldn’t see the sun in the sky. My sister said that it’s not fog, but it is the cloud. Yeah, we drove and walkedthrough the cloud. When we went out for a minute, the rain was stopped. But after enter the car we became rather wet. It could be, because we walked on the cloud. I take the pictures through the glass of the car. The day was so cold, I couldn’t stay outside the car for a long time. So, I capture the scene from inside the car. Even the day was so cold we still and we have to turn the AC on a whole the traveller. If the AC off, we couldn’t see anything caused by the steam from our breathing will  be attached on the glass of the car. The driver has to be so careful while he drive the car on.We go a long this way for about twenty minutes. After that, we arrived on the peak, but not really the peak. We just visited an area near the peak where we would see anything in the afternoon. We arrived at the destination at ten in the morning.

            Near the peak of Mount Purut, I captured a sight below my position. I saw that the tea garden seems like a green large carpet. It was reminding me to an Alladin sound track. Because the day was still misty, we stay for a minute I a hood where sold foods and drink. Exactly, those were hot foods and hot drinks. We just bought instant noodle. After ate, we looked that the mist has begun to get away from our sight.

The photo above is the scene that I captured from the peak of Mount Purut after the mist get away because the day was going brighter. It is just one of the picture that I have. I was a photographer there, I used my sister’s camera to get best pictures. I just capture some scene by my phone, not too many I capture because my phone is so bad. While the other rush with capturing or eating, I tried to hunt something I could get for home. I saw that there were many plant that I have never seen before. So, I got some unique plant from the edge of the ravine. I was so careful, I was fear that I would be falling  down.Fortunately, I was successful to got a bunch of unique plants. I believed that the plants will stay alive in my home cause the weather of my home is cold too.

After tasted the scene, we were so hungry. We needed to eat rice and take a rest. We decided to visited the only one restaurant in mount Purut. It located near the green tea field. After arrived we booked the second floor. We could see anything there. First, I taste a cup of tea, it was a cup of green tea. The taste of the tea is different with the tea at home as usual. It was more tasty, I got different sensation. When I asked why it’s different, the servant said that the tea is got from the green tea field around Mount Purut.

The main menu was so simple : fried chicken, baked chicken, baked golden fish, and fried golden fish. We could got the fish alone from the puddle in the backyard. There were about seven puddle there. I didn’t ate fish, I was eating ulukutekleunca, tahu, tempe, and fried chicken. Just my sister who ate fried golden fish. The food is so simple, but it was so tasty, I ate again, again, and again. The boys except me were sleeping after satisfied.

All the buildings as long sa the road and as long as I saw were painted with same colour. All those buildings were blue. Those are the camps of the green tea worker. TehWalini has a large green tea fiela there. I just could capture the blue house once, eve from the car while the car was going on. I saw the worker began to work. The most worker I saw was women. Yeah, tge worker dominated with women.

The final destination our trip is Rancabali Waterfall. We visited this place after ate at Mount Purut peak. The waterfall located in the center of tea field. To visit this place  have to pay fo IDR 5,000. The price of the ticket is so expensive. The children didn’t need to pay for ticket. So, we just paid IDR 50,000. There are two waterfall there, the left side waterfall is not too huge. I didn’t see visitors there. Another waterfall where located in right side the tea field, cowded with people.

I and my family just visited that place where crowded with people.I was frightened that I found a snake nea the waterfall. Besides the snake, I found too many of small fish I the pool. There were boys who hunted thr fish by bottles. I spend the time in he gazebo. We used to pay IDR 15,000 to stayin the gazebo untill go home. When we would go home, I captured the left side waterfall while my sister was climbing a hill to the upper end of waterfall. They found a lake and took photos there. The water of the waterfall come from a lake where located on the hill.

When we go home we bought strawberry. The price of it IDR 15,000 per cup. We bought about 4 cups strawberries. Besides, strawberries we bought corn too because tomorrow is a day before new year. I was sleeping whole the traveller, I woke when I have arrived at home.
