Sukajadi Park

Sukajadi Park is a famous place in Bandung especially in North of Bandung. Taman Sukajadi was made upon the ground of a gas. About eleven years ago a gas where located on north of Sukajadi burnt and exploded. Fortunately, people were rarely to increase their fuel there. So, nobody was dead. The government replaced that gas to another place. That gas replaced to Pasirkaliki Street, no far from Pasupati Fly Over. About a year after that accident, a woody park was built replaced the burnt gas.

People who live around the park very love that park especially for old people. There are many reflections path in that park. I had tried to walk on it and it was good. For the first time, I feel that it’s so ill, but after walking for a long time, it was better.

There are many hardwood tree which live in there. I am not worry to stay in the park inn the middle of the noon. Sun won’t heat my head. There are short woody tree too like orange tree. I could found a nest of bird upon an orange tree. Around the park, there are so many flowers. I don’t know what kind of those flowers.

On week end, old people have come to Sukajadi Park earlier than usual. They have come to the park before six pm to walk, do some exercise, or to sniff fresh air. My friend of elementary school was join an exercise group which always use Sukajadi Park as a place for their activity. The park is so useful for us.

In seven pm and twilight until the middle of the night are the time of the waterworks where located on the center of the park to be activated. In the night the waterworks is activated including the colorful light around it.

Since RidwanKamil been a Mayor of Bandung, Sukajadi park had changed. Sukajadi Park is not only a favorite place for old people, but children like this place too. A play area built near the waterworks. On week end I can see children are playing around that area in the morning.

Sukajadi Park is also useful for me and my friends of senior high school. We were shooting a video there. We made our task of civil education to create a short video about Indonesia around Sukajadi Park. That place is the best choice and very suit with our task’s topic. We were success to create the video because we don’t need to move to another place. All we need are available in Sukajadi Park. We created our good video just for an hour. Sukjadi Park is the best park ever.
